EFCC Holds Ex-Customs Chief Dikko Over Alleged N42b Fraud

Previous Customs boss Abdullahi Inde Dikko is being held by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He was yesterday addressed over an asserted N42billion misrepresentation.


In addition, the EFCC has followed what about N2.6billion was pulled back from Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) coffers and transmitted into the records of some organizations skimmed by a previous Assistant Comptroller General who served under Dikko.

Dikko was yesterday flame broiled on the wellsprings of assets with which he purportedly obtained a N2 billion manor at 1, Audu Ogbe Street, Jabi, Abuja.

The counter unite organization had been on Dikko's trail since January 8 when its agents raged his home.

However, Dikko was said to have gone out of the nation. The EFCC dispatched a circumspect manhunt for him, looking for assistance from a few organizations, including the INTERPOL.

Dikko yesterday turned himself into the EFCC.

He touched base at the EFCC's Abuja base camp at around 10am. His cross examination endured around eight hours.

As indicated by reports, he his as yet being kept by the commission for the continuation of his cross examination today.
