EDO 2016: PDP will win —Onuesoke
Onuesoke Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and one-time Delta State governorship applicant, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, says he predicts his gathering's hopeful, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, winning the approaching Edo State governorship race.
Onuesoke, while responding to INEC acknowledgment of Ize-Iyamu as the PDP governorship competitor in the race amid a sensitisation voyage through Edo North, a week ago, asked Edo indigenes to turn out as a group to cast their votes in favor of the hopeful.
He clarified that in spite of the way that the present legislative head of the state is from APC, the lists on ground demonstrated that PDP is the main party in Edo. "Case in point, out of the nine House of Representatives individuals in the state, PDP has five.
That was a race that was led barely a year prior. The supporters of the present legislative leader of the state is spoken to in the House of Assembly by an individual from PDP.
Additionally, the general population of Edo are burnt out on APC in light of the fact that the gathering has neglected to satisfy its guarantees to them, "he said.
"Usually if the challenge is between Ize-Iyamu and Obaseki, the previous will eclipse the last since he is a government official to the center", Onuesoke contended.
Talking on the administration emergency in PDP, he spoke to Ali Modu Sheriff and Dr. Cairo Ojougboh to drop their grievances and hold hands with the progressives in moving PDP to more prominent statures.
