Governor Emmanuel Of Akwa Ibom Promised Super Eagles Whooping Amount Of Money If They Score Against Algeria

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has promised Super Eagles players $10,000 for every unreplied goal they score against Algeria, in today’s 2018 World Cup qualifier.

He made this guarantee, when he went by the group at their Le Meridien Hotel camp Friday night, joined by his forerunner, Godswill Akpabio.

"The Governor has made us a guarantee of $10,000 for each unreplied objective against Algeria," a top authority revealed to AfricanFootball.

Senator Emmanuel had given N10million to the Eagles, after they crushed Tanzania 1-0 in September.

The money reward was later changed over to camp recompenses by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) .

Nigeria will try to amplify their lead at the highest point of the African qualifying Group B, when they have Algeria on Saturday.

The Super Eagles crushed Zambia 2-1 in Ndola in the first round of installations, while Algeria were held to a 1-1 draw by Cameroon.
