Forty nine persons graduated with First Class degree at the 39th convocation of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, which held yesterday. At the ceremony where 11,731 students graduated, 2,697 students obtained Masters degree, while 289 were awarded PhD degree.
Talking at the occasion, President Muhammad Buhari said an appearance board would soon be constituted to free colleges of debasement.
Spoken to by the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Abdulrasheed Abubakar, President Buhari asked ABU to give careful consideration to farming inquires about, as the part was critical to the expansion motivation of his organization.
