Ondo State’s governor-elect, Rotimi Akeredolu of APC, has thanked his people, following his landslide victory.
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC reported 17 of the 18 Local Government Areas in the state, with Akeredolu winning 14 nearby governments, the Peoples Democratic Party drove in two LGAs while the Alliance for Democracy won in one neighborhood government.
The outcome as yet being anticipated is from Ilaje neighborhood governments. The Returning officer declared that the outcomes are still gathered.
The Chief Returning Officer, Prof. A. Ambali, reported a break and said they will reconvene at 11 am.
