Police Arrest Man For Selling Step-Daughter’s Head & Hands To Ritualists In Ogun


The Police in Ogun State have arrested one Korede Odubela for selling the head and hands of his step-daughter, Amudalat Oshimodi, to ritualists.

Odubela was said to have choked the young lady to death, gathered her head and hands before offering them to ritualists.

Additionally captured regarding the custom murder of Amudalat, is Lekan Lawal, who purportedly helped Odubela to choke the casualty at Imosan zone of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area of Ogun State.

The twosome who admitted to perpetrating the wrongdoing, were paraded Tuesday at Eleweran, the Headquarters of Ogun State Police Command, by the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu.

Iliyasu said the speculated gagged the casualty to death and later sold her head and hands to ritualists.

Odubela who conceded the wrongdoing, told correspondents that he and Lekan completed the appalling wrongdoing.

Odubela said: "beyond any doubt Lekan Lawal and I plotted to slaughter my progression little girl. The young lady was 16 years of age, she was continually taking her mom's cash.

"What's more, the mother said we ought to slaughter her as a give up for the other youngsters she had. Since she typically rest at the entryway post outside.

"In this way, on the portentous night around 12 midnight, I welcomed Lekan Lawal, and he held the young lady by the neck and choked her while I held her legs. That was the means by which she kicked the bucket."

As indicated by him, his progression - little girl's head was sold to one Seun, a cultivator at N3,000.

The Police Commissioner told journalists that the case was all the while being examined while the remaining parts of Amudalat has been stored at the funeral home of State Hospital, Ijebu Ode.
