Former Liverpool and Guinea striker Titi Camera, who also served as the country’s sports minister after his playing career, has been handed a six-month suspended prison sentence and given a $5,000 (£4,000) fine by a court in Guinea, local media report.
He was discovered blameworthy of "fraud, dangers, open put-down and family relinquishment" for the situation, which was brought by his ex.The legal counselor for his offended spouse, Mariama Koulibaly, said: "We will check whether we can make an interest to get a bigger whole. Since 50 million Guinean francs ($5,000) is not in any case enough to pay the children's school charges."
