President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday ordered the probe of all projects executed by the nine new universities set up by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Buhari made this known at the lady assembly service of one of the colleges, the Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI), Ebonyi State.
He cautioned that his organization would not overlook defilement in the government colleges.
Buhari said the test will take out wastages, guarantee straightforwardness and responsibility in the administration of assets.
Spoken to by the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Rasheed Adamu Abaubakar, Buhari commented that colleges must set case in great administration and money related administration.
He said,
"No space for defilement in the scholarly part. Soon, we will visit all tasks executed by our new government colleges to guarantee that assets designated to them are reasonably used.
"Our colleges must be case in great administration and money related administration. In this way, no space for debasement in the scholarly segment."
