Kelechi Iheanacho was left red-faced by team-mate Yaya Toure, after Manchester City’s 3-0 win at Hull City on Boxing Day.
Toure opened scoring from the punishment spot, before Iheanacho made it 2-0. Curtis Davies then scored in his own particular net, as City went second.
The Ivorian was named Man of the Match a short time later by Sky Sports. Before being given the honor, Toure uncovered how his child had let him know he would score in the amusement.
When he was given the honor, the previous Barcelona man said: "Gracious pleasant, much thanks, I will offer it to my kid then."
Iheanacho expected Toure was discussing him and attempted to get it off the 33-year-old.
"No, it's not you, my kid!" came the answer, leaving the Super Egales star quite confounded.
