Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool are aiming for title glory this season, but cannot be weighed down by the failures of previous generations.
Liverpool have not won a title since 1989, but rather are right now second in the Premier League table – six focuses behind pioneers Chelsea – in front of the Christmas apparatuses.
Supervisor Klopp demands the club is prepared to challenge for top spot until the end of the season, however says players and supporters ought to concentrate on the present and not consider the last 26 seasons.
"We are not the most recent 25 years. We are currently. We are this era," he said in an elite Christmas meet with Sky Sports' Jamie Redknapp.
"As much as we cherish all the folks from the past which made this club, we can't make their employment. We need to carry out our employment.
"How about we do it and we should attempt it. We are adequate and the club is sufficiently huge. We have the proprietors we require in light of the fact that they would prefer not to offer players. No one ought to leave here due to cash. We are not the best-paying club on the planet, but rather we can pay enough to remain.
"This minute at Liverpool is phenomenal and we need to utilize it. We are in the present decent and what's to come is brilliant, so put it all on the line.
"That doesn't imply that we can't lose amusements. What truly makes the delight a tiny bit littler is the point at which we lose an amusement people say 'that resembles the season 2004-05 when we lost to I-don't-know where'.
"It's not, it's never the same. We don't have it in our DNA that we lose an unequivocal amusement.
"We are sufficiently youthful, we are adequate, we are sufficiently solid and we have an extraordinary, gifted group. The main issue is there are a couple groups around that have not a more regrettable group, as well.
"It's still football. The more you wish doesn't make it more probable, yet it's still conceivable and we will remain in the race, without a doubt."
