Chelsea plan to crush their long-term home and develop another 60,000-capacity ground in its place – a project which will be worth around £500m.
Individuals from the Council's Planning and Development Control Committee gave the green light after three hours of consideration at Hammersmith Town Hall on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea presented their underlying recommendations in November 2015 and later amended them last August, with the board collectively favoring the thumbs up of the redevelopment regardless of reservations from specific local people because of worries over interruption brought about by the development procedure.
The engineers behind Beijing's 'Fowl's Nest' stadium will be appointed to supervise the development procedure at Stamford Bridge, which was built in 1866 however has since experienced different facelifts.
