The Football Association plans to increase FA Cup prize money with the aim of helping lower league clubs, says chief executive Martin Glenn.
In October, the FA signed a six-season overseas broadcast rights deal for the FA Cup – reportedly worth £820m.
Glenn said the FA could raise the ebb and flow £25m subsidize in view of the arrangement, which begins from the 2018-19 season.
"The FA Cup is an extraordinary method for redistributing cash to the lower associations," Glenn told BBC Radio 5 live.
"The prize store is £25m," Glenn told Sportsweek. "We're hoping to build that over the coming years and ideally advantage the littler clubs."
