Champions League: If We Don’t Score As Many Goals As Possible In Monaco, We’re Out – Guardiola

Manchester City Manager, Pep Guardiola, has noted that his side will need to be more prolific and score more goals to enable them advance to the next round of the Champions League.

Man. City battled from 3-2 down in a phenomenal round-of-16 first leg against the French side to win 5-3 on Tuesday with only 20 minutes remaining.

The Citizens will take a two-objective preferred standpoint to Monaco for the second leg on March 15, yet Guardiola says his side should score away objectives in the event that they are to advance to the quarterfinals in front of their host.

He told a post-coordinate news gathering, "We will travel to Monaco to score however many objectives as would be prudent.

"I might want to perceive what number of groups can get a perfect sheet against Monaco this season. They have fabulous players.

"We saw instantly they will assault with keeps running in behind. It's in this way, so troublesome however we made a great deal of possibilities and I don't know whether Monaco have seen a group make the same number of chances as we did against them today.

"They generally landed with six or seven players and I haven't seen a group assault with such a large number of good players for quite a while.

"Presently we know each other better, we will change, they will alter. On the off chance that we don't score in Monaco, we will be wiped out."
