Woman Dived Out Of Window To Save Her Baby In Lagos Luxury Bus Accident


More accounts have emerged on the events leading to the crash of a 59-passenger luxury bus on its way from Aba, Abia State, which plunged into a canal at Owode Elede, Lagos, killing three passengers and injuring 23 others.

A traveler in the transport, Kenneth Ohai, said as the transport hit the middle around 3am on Friday morning and veered off the street, plunging into the channel all the while, the kid his co-traveler was carrying on her lap skiped off the window and fell into the water. 

He said the lady promptly jumped out of the window to spare her child. 

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency affirmed to Punch that the unidentified lady and her kid were unharmed, as they were both safeguarded after.

One of the inhabitants, Atolagbe Akande, a neighborhood jumper, who helped crisis authorities in the save operation, said he was woken up by the effect of the crash.
