An Abeokuta Chief Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, ordered the remand of a pastor in prison custody for allegedly impregnating a teenager.

A 48-year-old minister distinguished as Micheal Adeniran, has been requested to be remanded in jail care by an Abeokuta Chief Magistrates' Court sitting on Wednesday for purportedly impregnating a 17-year-old young lady.

As per a report by Vanguard, Inspector Kayode Emnmanuel, who is the prosecutor, told the court that the charged submitted the offense in June at El-Bethel Church, Ita Aka, in Abeokuta, Ogun.

The prosecutor who uncovered further that the charged, a minister at El-Bethel Church, sexually manhandled an adolescent young lady, which came about into pregnancy, added that the minister neglected to assume liability of the young lady in the most recent six months of his impregnating her.

Emmanuel who uncovered that the minister who is confronting a charge of sexual manhandle, included that that the offense contradicted Section 32 of the Child Rights Law of Ogun, 2006.
