The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, (NAPTIP) in Ebonyi State has taken custody of a woman, Odinaka Ali, arrested by the police for alleged attempt to sell her three children in Enugu State.
The Desk Officer of NAPTIP, Florence Onwa, expressed this in Abakaliki while instructions columnists on the protect of her kids.
The 25-year-old lady from Ezilo in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was said to live with her significant other in Enugu State with her three youngsters until eight months prior when her better half relinquished them to an obscure goal.
As per the NAPTIP Desk Officer, Mrs. Onwa, police captured the lady taking after a tip-off by an eatery orderly she reached to search for a trafficker who can get her youngsters as she could no longer deal with them.

"They instantly welcomed a policewoman who came and requesting that I tail them to the station, that I ought to obey before grumble and I tailed them to the station.
"While in the station, the young lady who requesting that I go to her said I advised her to begin searching for who will purchase my youngsters."
The head of Child Development Department, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Godwin Igwe, approached open energetic people to help the lady deal with the youngsters.
He said, "the three kids and their mom just repatriated from the Enugu Ministry of Gender and Women Affairs to Ebonyi. The lady is from Ishielu nearby government region of Ebonyi State. When we talked with her, she said she is thinking that its extremely hard to survive not to mention nourish her kids. She said her implied spouse deserted her and the youngsters in April".
