Buhari Begs Nigerians To Endure Economic Situation, It Shall Be Settled Very Soon

President Muhammudu Buhari has appealed to Nigerians to remain steadfast as his administration strives to get the country out of recession.


He guaranteed that present financial circumstance in Nigeria would be a relic of past times soon.

President Buhari said this at the 46th assembly function of the University of Nigeria, UNN, Nsukka.

Buhari, who is in London in the midst of a furlough, was spoken to by the clergyman of state for instruction, Professor Anthony Awnuka.

He noticed that in spite of the financial issues confronting the nation, "the gathering of Nigerians to check the conference has in no little measure energized the conviction that the overall population share the misery of the current situation in the nation".

The president, who said "the college began on strong establishment", paid tribute to the establishing fathers for the astuteness and resourcefulness in building up the foundation which clings to worldwide idea and goal in Nigerian substance".

Buhari included that the endeavors of the administration staff of the college can't be over underlined, as the college had broadened Nigerian culture and the general population all in all.

Buhari recognized the graduands, the honounary degrees awardees and the teacher emeritus for their diligent work.

He encouraged those going to corporate world not to take part in works that need significance, works that produces futile or destructive items and works that administrations the bureacratic structure.

In his comment, UNN Chancellor, His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Entan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, said the college presents higher degrees, recognitions and hononuary degrees to superlative achivers which is a sign of the significance of achievement.

He guaranteed that UNN would keep on championing exploration and learning, and remain the main college in Nigeria.

Prior in his address, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba revealed that the University admited an aggregate of 2,023 post graduates to higher degrees and confirmations, including 365 doctorate level of logic, 1,419 of bosses degrees in various train and 239 in post graduate certificates.
