Nigerians Lament As Price Of Kerosene Rises By 60% (See Latest Details)


One of the most essential commodity found in the household of majority of Nigerians, has increased by 60 percent in Kaduna as Nigerian lament over price hike.



The cost of Kerosene, a fundamental family unit item, has expanded by 60 for each penny in Kaduna, from N1,100 a gallon in December, 2016 to N1,600 in first week of January 2017. 

Merchants of the item told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna on Friday, that the items abruptly turned out to be rare and costly, which was in charge of the sharp increment in the cost. 

One of the merchants, Joyful Adeyemi, told NAN that she purchased lamp oil in December, 2016 at N47, 000 a drum and offers a gallon between N1, 100 and N1, 200.
