Kelechi Iheanacho will fight his way back into Pep Guardiola’s plans in Manchester – despite the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, Nigeria national team technical adviser, Gernot Rohr, has said.
Rohr uncovered he has talked with the 20-year-old striker, who has been let well enough alone for Manchester City's last four match day squads.
He's just begun nine amusements all season – four in the Premier League – and that is in spite of Sergio Aguero missing seven diversions through suspension.
While Aguero's position has gone under examination taking after Jesus' shocking begin to his City vocation – the effect on Iheanacho's first group chances has been to a great extent disregarded.
Yet, Rohr is persuaded the forward has the mental quality to meet people's high expectations.
"I am certain Kelechi will return to this group," Rohr told Africanfootball.com. "He's a warrior; he has a decent battling soul.
"This player is a decent competitor and he has a decent personality.
"I have talked with him and he will return.
"He's a youthful player, so once in a while he plays, in some cases he doesn't.
