Barcelona’s Star Neymar Could Face Jail Time If Guilty

Barcelona and Brazil footballer Neymar should face trial for fraud, a Spanish judge has said, months after the case was dismissed.
The case was revived on Monday, brought by venture finance DIS, which claims it was duped amid Neymar's 2013 move to Barcelona.
The reserve some time ago claimed the exchange rights to the 24-year-old.
The charges – which are denied by the denounced, including Neymar and his folks – were dropped in July.
Judge Jose de la Mata was requested to revive the case in September by Spain's Supreme Court.
DIS, which was qualified for 40% of Neymar's exchange from Brazilian club Santos, claims it got a littler pay than it ought to have on the grounds that part of the exchange expense was professedly disguised.
And also the footballer, whose full name is Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, and his folks, the previous and current club presidents, Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu and the club itself stand blamed for association, as per Spanish news office EFE.
Since moving to the Nou Camp, Neymar has won two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, the Champions League, the European Super Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Club World Cup.He marked another five-year contract with Barcelona in October.
Barcelona have as of now been advised to pay a fine of 5.5m euros ($6.1m; £4.7m) on account of assessment anomalies in Neymar's exchange.
Prosecutors now have 10 days to formalize their demand for a trial.
